MariEnergies Acquires 65% WI and Operatorship in Peshawar Block

In a significant step towards advancing Pakistan’s energy independence, Mari Energies Limited and Fatima Petroleum Company Limited have signed a farm-out agreement with Hycarbex-American Energy Inc. to acquire 65% working interest along with Operatorship and 25% working interest respectively from Hycarbex in the Peshawar Block located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This transaction is subject to requisite regulatory approvals, execution of deeds of assignment with the Government, and completion of other formalities, highlights our ongoing commitment to strengthening our upstream portfolio, expanding into prospective onshore areas across Pakistan, supporting indigenous hydrocarbon exploration & development, and contributing to the country’s long-term energy security.
