MariEnergies held a Farmers Engagement Program in Daharki
February 20, 2026
MariEnergies recently held a Farmers Engagement Program in Daharki to mark one year of the Mari Kissan Dost Program (MKDP) and engage directly with the local farming community. Leadership from MariEnergies, BKK management, and local farmers reviewed program progress, discussed climate‑smart agricultural practices, and participated in an interactive Q&A on productivity, inputs, and advisory support.
Key highlights included active use of 1,000 subsidy cards, improved yields and incomes through enhanced inputs and GIS‑based crop monitoring, women’s training in kitchen gardening and value‑added products, and better student nutrition through free meals. The visit also featured demonstrations at the Agri Centre and a field tour to observe on‑ground impact.
The engagement strengthened community trust and reaffirmed the socio‑economic value of MKDP under our CSR and ESG commitments.
